Mission Statement
Cloonliffen National School is a Catholic, co-educational rural primary school.
We strive to provide a caring, happy and secure learning environment where the intellectual, spiritual, physical, moral and cultural needs of our pupils are identified and addressed. Although our school has a Catholic Ethos, inspired by our faith and Christian values, it recognises, respects and values other religions.
At Cloonliffen National School, we endeavour to enhance the self-esteem of everyone in the school community, to imbue in the pupils respect for themselves, for other people and for property and to encourage the development of personal responsibility.
We endeavour to enhance the self-esteem of everyone in the school community, to imbue in the pupils respect for themselves, for other people and for property and to encourage the development of personal responsibility. We aim to prepare our pupils for their place in a modern multicultural society by actively promoting equality and by celebrating the diversity we have within our school community.
The teachers of Cloonliffen N.S. are committed to giving effective and affective instruction in all aspects of the Primary School Curriculum. We aim to provide a sound primary education and to help them to develop spiritually, physically and intellectually.
We will encourage the participation of parents in the life of the school by fostering and maintaining strong home/school links.
